• He took Iris and Niko in after their parents died in a cultural war and has educated them throughout their lives with prestige. He knew their dad since they were kids and his mom since a teenager but gives little detail on them to the questionable children.
• He speaks properly, is very healthy, works at home. Most people come to enjoy his company instantaneously and enjoy stringing up conversations with him. Spencer has always joined in and never given hint to any annoyances he finds in others, although his first girlfriend that Iris or Niko know of is Hero. He’s often flirted with, though.

• She’s extremely responsible and sensible, although one has to become either that or the polar opposite if they deal with Niko all their life. She has learned to cook quite well and enjoys artistic activities. While better at German, she adores French and often speaks with infinitives in her English. Her fault is how easily she falls for boyfriends and becomes attached to them. She also has a problem with algebra and fears sleepwalking (especially out of windows).
• Her name was changed by the Witness Protection Program after escaping Bade Smith and virtually showing the police where the mass murderer was. Such was also the reason for the family’s relocation.

Promise Quintessence - Niko’s Deceased Mother

• Her real name is unknown, only Atticus knew it. She came up with this name as a child when Americans and British were around handing out food, water, and supplies. She overheard both words over time and eventually put them together.

Charlotte Ophelia Willoughby - Clem’s Grandmother

• Charlotte lives on a ranch in Idaho and spends most of her days sitting on her porch smoking a cigar in either her big winter parka or her flannel button up (depending on the season), her rifle on her shoulder, staring out at her property and threatening to shoot anyone who steps foot on it.
• She’s overly paranoid and enjoys making fun of her children and grandchildren
• Charlotte doesn’t like Clem’s father and won’t visit the Whitefield house when he is there, though reasons for this dislike are unknown.

Camilla Oralie Whitefield - Clem’s Mother

• Camilla puts a large emphasis on social status and monetary success, and she puts a lot of pressure on her children to live up to her expectations.
• She has never held a real job. She also despises the idea of getting her hands dirty or doing anything that requires real work.

Robert Ryan Whitefield - Clem’s Father

• He is the cofounder of a major company in Virga City.
• None of his children really understand what it is he does partially because he is never home and partially because when he is home he doesn’t talk about his work.
• Robert is very cold and distant both to his wife and children and seems to care very little about what goes on in their lives.

Ryan Robert Whitefield - Clem’s Brother

• Ryan is a bossy and take charge kind of person. He’s a natural born leader and is often the mastermind behind any of the Whitefield siblings’ plans. He’s impulsive and hardly ever thinks things all the way through, a trait many of his siblings share with him. Ryan also is very passionate about everything he does and never does things half-heartedly. 
• He, along with Trey, go to a college about forty five minutes away from Virga City. Ryan is on an athletic scholarship for track. He comes home a lot to visit his family, mainly for the meals.

Trey Wyatt Whitefield - Clem’s Brother

• He’s considered meek when compared to his best friend and older brother Ryan. He’s very frugal with money and often keeps Ryan from making stupid impulse purchases. He’s probably the most responsible of the family and often keeps his brothers out of trouble. Trey is also the most successful study wise.
• He and Ryan both go to the same college, and share a small apartment off campus. He visits home less than Ryan because he’s generally more focused on his studies or doesn’t want to spend the money on gas.

Jason Isaac Whitefield - Clem’s Brother

• Besides Trey, he is the most responsible member of the family, despite this he seems to be constantly misplacing things. He’s the one person in the family who the others go to talk about their problems, he’s a good listener and in general gives great advice.
• He’s the unsung hero of the Whitefield kitchen, producing most of the meals for the family since their cook quit when he was ten, saying that she was doing it for her own sanity. He’s also on VCHS’s varsity men’s tennis team.

Chad Monroe Whitefield - Clem’s Brother

• Dating Adrian Douglas
• He shares the impulsive trait with Ryan and often does a lot of stupid things. He is quite immature and obnoxious. Chad’s speaking voice is abnormally loud and he is naturally yelling half of the time. He enjoys creating havoc and making a mess of things, but he has a guilty conscious and usually ends up helping fix the messes he causes.
• Chad is unusually smart, especially in math, and is in the same math class as both Jason and Clem, who are seniors while he is just a sophomore. However he is in the class by choice rather than by force unlike his older siblings.

Steven Karl Whitefield - Clem’s Brother

• Steven often gets mistaken for Chad, who is more well known, and therefore has worked hard to distinguish himself from his twin brother. He’s generally calmer and more put together, he still has that impulsive side but is able to control himself better than his twin. Consequentially, he is known as “the quiet twin”.
• Steven is not nearly as smart as Chad, and therefore his twin can often be found tutoring him.

Nelson Leonard Whitefield - Clem’s Brother

• Nelson is a wallflower, out of all the brothers, he is the one that people seem to forget about most. He is not impulsive, unusually smart, or witty. He does not have the famous Whitefield anger, in fact it could be said that he is the opposite. He rarely gets angry and is generally very quiet. Pretty much the only time he talks is with his siblings and a few of his classmates have thought him to be a mute.
• Nelson has gotten picked on a lot through primary and secondary school, as well as home, which has made him even more introverted than he already was. As is his nature he doesn’t reveal the teasing to his siblings and therefore they are clueless about his treatment at school. 
• Brian, who knows about the teasing, has made it his personal mission to get people off Nelson’s back at school, which only succeeds in making him get picked on more because he has a seventh grader sticking up for him.

Brian Kenneth Whitefield - Clem’s Brother

• Brian is a computer whiz and a bit of a geek, he is one of the only ones in the family who owns a computer. He spends a lot of his time on online gaming communities and gets very mad when other members of the family impede him from doing so. 
• Because he’s very different in some ways from his brothers he often gets picked on by them. He’s very bad at sports and is very clumsy, another thing he gets made fun of for. But he doesn’t take in the criticism, unlike Nelson he lets it bounce off him and takes it in stride.

Hero Mary Silverman - Spencer’s Girlfriend

• Hero acts friendly and completely casual. Though it is hard to tell, she is Jewish and was raised in New Jersey along with a younger brother and a much older sister who look and talk much more Jewish (and New Jersey) than her. Her parents are also still living. She’s rather straight-forward and has a knack for keeping her personality, background, and talents hidden by drawing little to no attention to herself.
• The rest of her family has been very successful; her sister is a lawyer and works for the American President (she’s always wanted to be part of the Supreme Court); her brother is a dentist; her father was a doctor; and her mother was more of a stay-at-home woman but still managed to give that high and mighty feel of accomplishment. Hero fell very far from the tree, as one can clearly tell.

  younger brother (Gabriel Ezra Silverman)= 28 @ 5’5” w/ a fiancee (Silver Mary Adamson w/ brown hair, blue eyes, pale complexion, works w/ Gabby) and is shy but jumps right in despite feeling emasculated around most other males and appears rather greasy; older sister (Esther Gideon Silverman)= 43 @ 6’4” who dresses rather conservatively indeed and appears unimpressed at all times and also unmarried; mother (Adamina Mary Silverman - maiden name Grinberg)= 79 @ 5’7” who tends to keep many comments spoken but many more to herself; father (Ezra Lemuel Silverman)= 88 @ 6’ w/ shaggy black beard and full of advice and talk and enjoys talking to Spencer
• Season Two -

Erwin Asaron Braun - Niko’s Family’s Family Friend

• Age 35; February 28; 5’10”; 
• has Hershey’s chocolate eyes, strong jawline, heartthrob, handsome, blonde, wavy hair
• Erwin was a great neighbor to one of the Newton’s most visited German homes and came to visit them in Virga City in Season One. Niko loves him especially because he pays so much attention to everyone else and gives even more focus to Niko himself. He also treats Niko ‘normal’ as if he actually was. He’s always waving off the girls (and sometimes guys) that want his phone number - and otherwise. He isn’t full of himself, but knows he is a good person and most people like him a whole lot but feel a bit distanced. He isn’t that whole humble sort.
• Last time he talked to Niko in person, he said he was to propose to a girl he thoroughly loved and described to him. They would send letters to each other and she quoted “Hamlet” often.
• In Season Two, he sent an invitation to his marriage on New Year’s Eve (2009) to a Arancia Laece Brady, the same girl as before to the family. They RSVPed.

Mercury Sacri Young - Niko & Clem’s Friend

• Mercury met Niko at a party Clem’s mother threw and met Clem in gym class. She comes from a rich family and her attire sports that fact. Unlike the stereotype, she’s open, trustable, a good listener, reasonable, and easy to like. Mercury does have this royal air about her, but doesn’t enjoy shoving it in other’s faces and appears unaware of it when playing with others. What really hooks her and Niko together is her cleanliness and desire of clean things, although not nearly to the level of him. But, because of her upbringing, she’s loose with money and doesn’t seem to understand the value of a dollar. Also, like Iris, she is won over easily and lets people in without any thought otherwise. Naive and trusting is a great way to put it. 
• Father is Lewis Joshua Young and mother is Shannon Taylor Young (maiden name Smith). Lewis got in trouble for working with the exclamation point crimes.

Adrianna (Adrian) Douglas - Chad’s Girlfriend + Clem’s Friend

• Adrian, her ten-year-old sister Noelle, and her five-year-old brother Barney are the products of three different husbands of their mother, who has divorced all three of them and now is raising her three kids on her own.
• Adrian is on the swim team and has a great love of the water.
• She’s very trusting and wants to believe the best about everyone, even if they don’t deserve it.

Tempore Eleanore Monet - Niko’s Ex-Girlfriend

• her first name means ‘Time’ in Latin, brown eyes, peach skin, black hair with dyed-purple roots, liked to wear skirts
• Seemingly innocent at first, but looks are deceiving and don’t last long. She’s a B student, often skipped class to do ‘better things with [her] life’ but is just smart (and opinionated) in general, and enjoys watching the sky transform as well as nurturing animals. That’s why she is a near vegan. She’s a little obsessed with how she looks and looks down on everyone else, though never exactly raising herself up.
• She broke up with him, but he was just low on the summoning to do it himself. Niko called her “Tem” as her initials were the same as the first three letters of her name. They dated for twenty-nine days.

Branson Blackman - Clem’s Friend + Maggie’s Boyfriend

• Branson’s father is a prominent pastor in Virga City.
• Branson is the star of VCHS men’s varsity basketball team. His father taught him how to play and he has a great passion for the sport. He hopes to play college ball.
• He’s been dating Maggie Farley since freshman year.

Maggie Farley - Clem’s Friend + Branson’s Girlfriend

• Age 17; 5’4”
• Maggie on VCHS tennis team.
• She has been dating Branson since freshman year and can be found in the stands of every game he plays in.

Ichabod James Tuesday - Niko’s Psychiatrist

• He says ‘very’ a lot and he waits for people to finish talking to talk; is an excellent listener; pushes for two hour sessions (Niko’s on Wednesday) and loses patients because of his age and tries not to ask too much for money. He gives the impression of someone paying close attention and ready to learn in all situations, very interested by everything.
• His original hair color is black, but it turned gray and so he has been dying since high school.

Faith Hazel Myers - Niko & Clem’s ‘Friend’

• on soccer team = decent, show-off
• She’s something of a know-it all and has this constant will to argue and be right (she will not admit when she is wrong). She doesn’t talk much about her own life and for good reason. Her family is religious and has always used her clothing style and general behavior as an insult, that is until they found pictures of women on the computer. Though not hers, her mother was so accepting and loving to her that she did not refuse the claim.
